I used Tesco since December and have been very happy with them. If I return a DVD on Monday, the new one usually arrives on Wednesday. I've been impressed with their service.

I second Blockbuster. Have tried loads of free trials and though they were the best. Quick turnaround of DVDs and always got ones from the top of the list. Thought Tesco took too long to receive and dispatch new ones. Didn't rate Amazon highly either as rarely got ones from the top of the list.

Why not do a few free trials first and see which one works for you? (or have you already done that?) ;)

We have screen select - I had a three month trial period and I've stuck with them. No problems so far - we usually get the DVDs we ask for and they are very quick - usually get a new one two to three days after posting the old one. All disks have worked fine too.

I'm with amazon and would highly recommend them!!. We've only had 2 problems:-

    1. One disk had a big dint in it.

    2. Just got Wallace and Gromit and the previous person must have decided to clean it with sand paper.

Amazon have replaced both disks quckly & without complaint and they give you the bonus of not 'charging' you for the disks out of your allocated quota for the month.

Remember there's lots of choice when doing free trials. Going through Quidco sounds great; but there are other alternatives. If you're collecting Nectar or Tesco points, they often have free trials where you get extra points as well. Also, there's a Boots one where you get a £5 Boots voucher for doing the free trial.

The thing to remember is obviously that a lot of these are run by the same company, so you've got to think what is worth the most for you: cashback, points or vouchers.

    It's all good fun. :)

Ive got to say Blockbusters two month free trial is brilliant
  • Blockbuster is very good. Cancelled today as my 2 months is up tomorrow. tempted to stay with them, but have Sky in contract at the mo. Once finished, I will probably go back.
Will try others in the meantime.
How do you get 3 month free trial with Screen Select Henhog?

I have been using ebay as a DVD rental company. Buy the DVD off ebay, watch it a couple of times and then sell it back again. It usually sells for almost as much as you bought it for it not the same. Then if you get one you really like you can keep it. The same goes for CDs and books.
