The OP said they have bad credit. I would hazard a guess that this is affecting the decision. Of course I don't know YOUR situation but if you also have bad credit I'd say, all people's circumstances are different and they may be something in yours that makes you more credit worthy than the OP.
Fair point!'Sometimes you just need to keep your mouth shut':j0 -
Just a bit of an update on this, I got all the bank statments that I sent them returned today with a letter dated 26th June thanking me for sending them in !, but nothing else mentioned in the letter and the letter was sent from the customer service centre in Leeds and not my branch ?, and on it was an application number ?.0

Branches, especially older ones, tend to get ridiculous amounts of mail and most banks (I believe all) will send it off to be sorted centrally and actioned unless it's individually addressed. What would William Shatner do?0 -
Further quick update, phoned branch to be told they know nothing about it, will get card after 3 months if I run the account well. Now today I get letter from my solicitor returned (I sent it to the branch to confirm the amount of inheritance), just the letter in a envelope postmarked Manchester (My branch is in Scotland), no compliments slip or anything !.
Phoned Branch, same story except gave me number for Private banking (Not sure why), never phone it but phoned telephone banking, nothing on notes but adviser reckons it could have been sent to underwriters and they would have returned all the documents separately (As has actually been done, and spead out about a week).
So its a puzzle, no one has any record of me sending the information, but somebody is sending it back to me !. I think I will just wait and apply normally the end of 3 months like everyone else !.0
