If PWC lives with a partner who works full time, and receives child support from a former partner, then nothing will change for the NRP - the PWC gets all the maintenance. The household finances will be more challenged due to the new child, but that is what happens when you have more children. PWC may be able to claim child tax credits, but the amount they get will depend on the household income.
so basically i wont have to pay more than 15% of my income after tax??0 -
Who's the drunk, me or him (Stoke Fan)

pwc has a new child so the nrp needs to pay more because it costs more in the house.
I've been called worse
your straighteners werent that brilliant Kelloggs could you try again.
aw I dont get it, nrp pays more he does because it costs more, she might have to start using a bit of the maintenance for the older child for stuff for the baby so then the older child wont have as much money left for her. I see Zara has legged it. no I think i've got something there.0 -

you are not expected to pay for the new partners child. Only to support your own!!! I think that is what you are asking isnt it??
If she isnt on income support then she should receive the full percentage for the child by the NRP0 -

ok what a few bizare posts lol
Stokefan - as the pwcs new child doesnt have anything to do with you it will not affect what you have to pay at all - you will continue to be liable for 15% of your net income
If the pwc is iro benefits it is up to her to declare the payments she received from you to the benefit agency - this is however up to her to do this
So all you have to worry about is to continue to pay the 15% of your net pay and u will be grand
HTH
:):) Comp Wins 2011 : Cant wait to start listing everything:j:j:j0 -

The NRP won't be affected at all. Payments will remain the same as before the PWC had another child.
If the NRP had another child themself within their household, then they would be entitled to a reduction in the amount of child support they would pay to the PWC.
Does that make any sense?0 -
If on new rules nothing will change
If on old rules and the father of the new child does not live with the pwc then it will make a very big difference as the maintenance needed figure will be affected.0 -
But it would also mean that there are 2 claims, so it won't be a simple adjustment to make.0
