Compensation of £25 from United Utilities!

I have recently moved from my 3 bedded large town house in to a small flat near the city centre of Manchester. I rang UU to let them know and transfer my details over, they informed me the bill would be £70 less expensive! GOOD DAYS!

I was rally annoyed that when I received my bill it was £70 more expensive, so I rang UU to complain. They informed me that had made a mistake, and said the bill was correct and advised me to write a letter of complaint to them.

I sent a letter of complaint and in 7 days they rang me to apologise and offer me a cheque for £25. I explained this was not acceptable but that I would take the £25!

I'm obviously still out of pocket than I was, but at least it is only by £45 now!
