Yep Setanta Ireland can only function for as long as it can until IT is bought over or goes into administration too. I bloody hope so.
I'm not paying £12.99 to get one out of 10 or so mini channels to only be left with Setanta Ireland.
By the way Setanta Ireland is a screw up. When matches come on Northern Ireland based subscribers screens go blue until it's over. So I really dont see how Setanta Ireland covers NI. We should be under a UK banner, not this NI is Irish, and England, Wales & Scotland are separate.Wish Setanta would make up it's mind whether we're NI (UK) or NI (Ireland)...cos the map and border says something different geography wise and businesswise.0 -

Or do what some of us other Jambos do, get a motorised dish and watch the Jam Tarts on Latvian tv. Romanov makes sure they show plenty of the games and no subscription required.0 -

so much for immediately stopping taking subscriptions, they have taken a card payment from my account yesterday. I'm on to the bank now. Any ideas how I get in touch with Setanta?0

I hear what your saying underlayguru.
pay tv with sky has emptyed our pockets of cash,destroyed uk footballers (only been good for whining, diving foreigners,that sums up the epl)
Who the hell wants to pay £36pm to watch this dross?
sky=rip off :mad:0 -
I had an annual subscription already paid for with months left to run. I know it is unlikely but I am going to try, what is the address of the Administrators who to send a letter to? Alternatively if I paid by credit card am I covered?0

According to BBC - Any BT Vision customers who were paying for Setanta Sports will see their charges stopped and any advance payments refunded. Customer updates are at: https://www.btvision.com/sport/setanta
If you subscribed directly through setanta I don't know what would happen
for us this appliesThe administrators say that people who pay monthly will have had most of their money's worth for their June payment, but there will not be any refunds - the company has no cash.
We last paid £12.99 on 13th June I don't call 10 days "most of my moneys worth" for a month. Of course that amount doesn't sound bad when you consider those looking for new jobs.:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

I've cancelled the direct debit today, it usually goes out around the 25th so going to have to check the bank everyday for the next few days and make sure they don't take it.:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy :heart:
