High monthly interest for mini-cash ISA

I hope you can help...

I want to find a method of saving that will pay me (hopefully high) interest monthly... Looking at the information on the website, a mini-cash ISA seems my best saving option right now - but none of the providers mentioned appear to give interest monthly. Many thanks!

Hello there. Try http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/savings/search/start.asp and enter the search criteria you are after - mini-cash ISA + monthly interest. I was surprised at the number of providers who cater for monthly interest on this - although you may need a minimum investment of £1000 for most of them.

On the thisismoney website there's a useful page listing various types of accounts paying monthly interest. The section at the bottom of the page lists Mini Cash ISA accounts that pay monthly.

Presumably you'll be drawing the cash out each month - only asked as you'll probably find the overall interest rate is the same whether added monthly or annually.

As for high... highest is around £1 per week interest per thousand invested.

I'm actually going to begin saving this week, and will withdraw twice between now and December 2006 - I just want my money to work for me between now and then. But I wouldn't be starting with £1000 - maybe about £50 the maximum! Anyway, I'll have a look at the links that have been suggested for a start - many thanks for the replies.
