iphone 3G S

hi...can someone help...i ordered an iphone s on thursday through QUIDCO, saving £70.....all set, paid for and confirmed, then on fri i rec an email from mobiles.co.uk..... ( see below)...

You have been conditionally accepted by your chosen network for a SIM only connection.

The below information applies if you’re interested in this SIM only offer:

- You will be offered a selection of tariffs to choose from
- Your selected tariff will be connected and a SIM card despatched to you
- You may be eligible to upgrade after 6 months to a deal of your choice from our website
- In taking out a SIM only contract you can improve your credit foot print so straight credit check accepts will be more likely.

In addition to this, you will only be sent a SIM card which you can use in an existing mobile phone.

Your order has been cancelled but if you would like more information please email our Sales Team at SIM.only@mobiles.co.uk.

i spoke to mobiles.co.uk and they say it was due to my credit ratings.....anyway i ve just placed a direct telephone order with O2 and my order will be dispatched on Wednesday.........i m very confused why mobiles.co.uk offered me the sim contract and not the package!!!!

Probably is your credit rating, Mobiles.co.uk probably have a higher standard than O2 direct. Not really much you can do.

Yup mobiles.co.uk are notorious for their stricter checks on customers (hence why I'll never bother to go through them...i struggle to pass at the best of times lol)

They sell themselves to networks on having the best/high quality customers - thus being able to get more money from the networks.

Sim only is less risky as they aren't giving you a high cost phone - just the sim.
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...
