Just noticed on my broadband bill that it is now £17.99 for 2mb unlimited broadband per month
I have been paying £14.99 for last 11 months and did not realise that it went up after 12 months and was not told this (being a keen money saver, I would have noted this in my brain)
Anyway I told them that it wasn't fair that it suddenly went up without any notice, yet they send out a whole lot of bumff leaflets all the time with irrelevant info on them
The guy said he couldn't repeat the offer for 12 months but he 'would see what I can do'. I told him that I would leave, go to BT, get Sky etc.
He came back and gave me 6 months at the lower rate again - saving of £18 !
I would never go to Sky etc as I am not allowed a dish on the side of my property.
Tee hee, I told them !!
Go try it for yourself and just be as nice as pie to them, yet get what you want.
