Barcelona was great for me as well. I loved the place and had no negative experience.

I agree these lots to do and see. I think the shopping is great there too:D

You can actually to Barcelona for several days and not get around to going to the beach - or even realise it has a beach! It's only since the Olympics that Barcelona itself even realised it was by the sea.

I have been and loved it.
My friend is cabin crew and advised me to wear a hoodie when walking near las ramblas, most of the pickpockets wear them & they don't rob their own!!!!
