Talk Talk acount problems

I need some advice.

I had my broadband with talktalk disconnected october/november 2005 and since then I have received bills for rental, line charges etc.

Everytime I have called they have said the bill was sent in error and credited my account with the money.

Today, I received a bill with a "Cessation Fee" for £42.94.

When I called them, they have said this is due to the costs they incurred when they disconnected me.

Do I have to pay as it has taken 6 months for them to bill me for this?
I intend to live forever - so far so good! :j

  • I am also having problems with talktalk.

Got a letter from them in March telling me that my Feb. DD did not get paid. Spoke to my bank who confirmed that payment had been made.

Sent talktalk a letter confirming payment from bank. Talktalk, at first, did not belive me or my bank. They then said that it was another months payment that had been missed but they couln't say when. Spoke, again, to the bank who confirmed that all payment since the account was set up had been paid on time.

Talktalk now saying that, even though they can't say when a missed payment happened, I owe them 1 months charge.

I have advised talktalk to take me to court!!! as they do not seem to want to belive any evidence that is sent to them from my bank.

My advise to anyone AVOID TALKTALK.
  • If you are having problems with any Talktalk services I find going into the branch helps.
Isn't the knowledge that comes from experience more valuable than the knowledge that doesn't?
