The thing with ESA is it's based on what work someone can do rather than what work they can't. There might well be other jobs more suiitable for your wife than the rather pressurised role of a catering assistant; I would think working in industrial catering would be a terrible job for someone who suffers with OCD.

No unfortunately there are no better roles. Also the letter from the independent doctor said the she was not currently capable of attending meetings with management or speaking to human resources.

This subject has joined today and appears to be posting on any thread which asks for help and replying with abuse, discriminatory comments and general nastiness

Can somebody report debtenforcer1 to abuse please? My email is playing up. Would be worth noting to Abuse that all of their posts have been of this nature, not just this one.

In the meantime, until they magically disappear, best to ignore them. They'll get bored eventually if we do.

It does look like the person in question would qualify for ESA.

With regard to DLA, most people with bipolar do qualify on the grounds that they need watching over (is that the right term? Brain not in gear today) in case of harming themselves, not being aware of danger etc.

As others have said, please ignore the troll that has appeared on this thread. They tend to appear every so often ... but no one takes them seriously!

Thanks. If they were trying to get a rise out of me or upset me then it has failed. Everyone expects there to be idiots on the internet, and the idiots who spend their time trolling on message boards are just wasting their time. People just aren't shocked any more.
