Trucks can be un-bent, but you can't be. How are you feeling generally? I was a passenger in a 5 car accident on the M3 one morning years ago and it takes a long time to shake off.
thanks BB. Luckily, driving in a responsible manner;) I was able to stop without ploughing into the jack-knifing lorry in front ( it went off into the trees then) but then I looked in the mirrors and saw another trucker cr*pping himself as he hurtled towards towards my rear.
Big crunch as he squashed a transit van between us. Lucky that I let my brakes off and dipped the cluch to reduce the impact.
Fear is definitely brown...:D stay wonky

My week just gets better and better.
I've just had a visit from Amber's social worker, someone has complained about her, well rather about me. They have said that Amber is wandering around the streets on her own all the time. They think I throw her out of the house at the weekends from morning until night.
Abs does escape sometimes and I have asked for help with that., She also likes to go and play with the other children on the green out the back of the house, which is surrounded by houses, so is safe and I have a clear view of her all the time.
I try so bloody hard to give that little girl the best life I can, but it's never enough is it.
Maybe look at it from the other side....It's good that her social worker has been to see you about it, she should know you well enough to know it's all a load of twaddle but at least she's been to visit......
Think of all those kids that have been in danergous situations and haven't had anyone notice, let alone call for help....
It's clear to me (from what I've read in your blog) that your life revolves around your kids and making life easier and better for them and I'm sure that would be more than evident in your everyday life."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Thanks. Only second time I'm going, but wellies will definitely come with me. Didn't have much use for them last year, but I do think they got a bit muddy.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
The A34 is often littered with accidents, too many cars thundering up through the edges of Hampshire and Berkshire on too small a road.
Blimey pepe - you and your bent lorry managed to get yourself mentioned in dispatches a few times (good job you weren't on the phone at the time:eek: )

True, and too many drivers ( cars and trucks ) not paying attention and travelling too close! Theres all the room in the world to add a third lane to each side.........and I'm sure that there would be plenty of 'Trustafarians' out there trying to save the snails or butterflies who would disagree with that......but tough!
It didn't hurt Twyford Downs or the woods around Newbusy when previous re-routing/widening was carried out.....it just takes careful Management and time.:D stay wonky

I remember the pre-Newbury bypass traffic. God, getting through Newbury in the early evening was awful It just took forever, me and my ex used to occasionally go to the races there.
