The flight could have been changed at the airport or by telephone.
Its only cheap discounted tickets that cannot be changed.I assume most people use budget airlines nowadays, especially young boys. They will need their extra euros for beer.

If you look at the time the OP posted,she posted at 6 mins past midnight and her son was leaving at 5 in the morning-so he didn't have 18 hours to do anything.Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

Ryanair charge HUGE amounts for name changes and it would be each leg of the journey. I have heard it is £100 plus any additional cost if the fare has increased since booked. With the budget airlines it is usually cheaper to book a whole new ticket0
