Virgin Media- No internet

Hi guys,
My OH fell behind on her Virgin Media direct debit payments, and they cut her off, so i paid with my CC on sat morning, they "switched her internet back on" but nothing happend, when we foned back they said shes eligable for a free upgrade to 10mb, so they did that but still no internet, its now monday night and still nothing after countless calls to thier call center in india, could she use this as a "get out clause" to get out of the contract because they havent provided a level of service she's paying for? im not sure wether she wants to do that but she might, what should be our next step?
