well I've just tried to open a co-op bank account on the phone and I'm thinking it's not going to happen! she asked if I had ever had an account with them I said no she said are you sure I said yes, then she said or with any of our partners and thats when I knew where she was going with the questions,I asked who the partners were she said "smile" which was one of my creditors so I said yes,she said I had to ring back tomorrow to see if it will be opened?
any one else got an account openned with smile as a passed creditor?

Did you include smile in your BR?
In the past co-op have refused accounts to anyone who included them in their BR, but if the account was all settled before I can't see it being a problem.

Unfortunately, they did start refusing people who had included any of their partners so I would assume that they will turn you down.Get free advice before embarking on bankruptcy: CCCS 0800 138 1111 National Debtline 0808 808 4000
