Dilemma... Dress for a wedding?!

I'm 34 1/2 weeks and wearing a long emerald green Lycra non-maternity dress I got in Monsoon for £12. Nice shoes and a sparkly bag and it would be wedding-friendly in a second.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I agree with Glam - most of my clothes are non-maternity so definitely check out all the shops and think laterally! A dress slightly too loose can be pulled in with a belt under the bust, for example, while a short dress can become a maternity tunic.
It does depend on how big your bump is, but mine is small and even at 35 weeks I can wear non-maternity clothes.
If you say what your budget is we could have a trawl round for you. Do you specifically want a dress or is a top and skirt/trousers OK?:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Maybe check Bravissimo for dresses (either on-line or in your local shop if you're lucky enough to live near one)? They do dresses that fit in boobs and flow nicely below them, like this: http://www.bravissimo.com/products/clothing/dresses-and-skirts/bravissimo/bp16-details.aspx?colour=Ultra+MarineFrom Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -
I was a witness at a wedding at 38 weeks pregnant!!! Boy was I big.
People keep shooting me worried looks in case my waters burst during the ceremony etc.
I wore black maternity trousers (they had been my work ones) and a black and white maternity top from Dorothy Perkins. Put that with nice black patent heels and a fancy handbag and I didn't look the slightest bit glum for a summer wedding
Oh and I gave birth 5 days after the wedding LOL! So close but no cigar

My sister is wearing this dress to my wedding this weekend and she looks absolutely gorgeous in it. She is 5 months pregnant as well."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0

My friend who was 5 months pregnant at my wedding, was wearing a dress from M&S. It was a stretchy fabric, and it was in red. Looked really lovely.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Hello,
Thanks again for all your suggestions so far, it has been realy helpful...
I have been to the littlewoods clearance store today and found a possibility like this one
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DEFINITIONS-59-Floral-Satin-Bustier-Prom-Dress-BNWT-10_W0QQitemZ350118467677QQcmdZViewItemQQptZWomen_s_Clothing?hash=item5184afd85d&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A4|39%3A1|72%3A1685|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A3|294%3A200
Even though it isn't stretchy it does fit nicely under my bust and hangs over my bump (although am a bit gutted I would have to get a size 18)... What do you reckon?
It would be easy enough to accessorize too...
Cheers
