Well after joking about at work about the bad day we have had and all the other bad days lately, I asked my boss if me and my colleague could have a payrise. After messing around and thinking of all the things he could add to our contract to get it, he finally agreed to 5% :T
As I only do 20 hours a week it wont really amount to much (about £25 a month after tax) plus my benefits will be affected so not much to write home about really but its the princible. We should be on more than we are for the hassle we have to put up with plus being left on our own at times to run the office.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

5% is great! Hope it doesn't effect tax credits etc too much and you are actually better off for it.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

GC is totally out of the window as I only have £7 to last the month! And only £20 petrol budget. Petrol might be ok but GC there is no way I can keep to it this month, Some of it was for xmas bits. Pringles and pepsi offer at morrisonskids now know its xmas as its the ONLY time I buy fizzy drink.
DD has judo grading at the weekend which is an extra £9 plus they have a xmas bowling night which is £6 for DD and DS to go which is a good deal - 2 games and food.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Pammy.I think they deduct 30p for every extra £1 over a certain amount so you should still hopefully benefit from the extra.Who knows with all the malarky going on with taxes and benefit etc.On the upside that is my boost to get stuff paid off.So if they do mess around I can still breathe.
I have found something out today that makes me a little ashamed as an MSER.Phoned EDF to ask if I could change tariff. To find I wasnt on the deal I thought I was.And I have been paying the Standard tariff since May.Arrghh.On the upside,my bills still looked ok on that.Ive just changed to the online saver so any saving is now a bonus.x

So glad i took you over £40. Almost makes it feel better at selling my soul to another devil.
Thanks for all the tips tonight. I wish i could make more hours in the day and then i truly would be able to pay off as much as i want this year. I will be clicking and doing surveys like mad, and if i ever get a s & s referral you are my 1st one to pass it on to.0 -
