There were the free scratchies that helped out and competitions of course.

Had a text this morning now have to go into work tomorrow as boss's wife is ill :mad: oh well overtime I guess

Just popping in to say Hi. I have been lurking around your thread (and many of the others on the MFW board for a while now). You're doing so well, and are a great inspiration.
I've just made the decision to set up a diary on the MFW boards and get disciplined into battling my mortgage down.

Am being really naughty and scanning kids school photos in to make copies at the moment They are a ripoff I think

OOh Pammy ours were terrible this year. In one she had one eye closed and in another they didn't get her whole head in the picture!! Also usually they tell you you can bring siblings in to get photographed too, and this year they/the school didn't bother.

Rubbish, for the first time they're going straight back.

Our photos have a watermark through them. Are yours without or do you have a way to get rid of it?

Ours was a bit unusual too last week. We got a form to order the photos with the picture printed on it but it was only a couple of cm big so there is no way you could scan it. You can pay to have the license to the photo though for about £20 which would be a cheap way of doing loads of prints, or even £3.50 to have it texted to someone. They really have thought of everything.

I took DS2 in to have his took too, and then they took a separate on of DS1 too, and as it is his 1st i have the temptation to buy 2 lots. I bet i end up spending about £40. :eek:

I had four lots of photos, 1 of each of them and then 2 of the pair of them. They had the watermark on them and I have tried to get rid of it on one of them but its too hard and it looks like I have painted over them lol, gave up. Will have the proofs this time in my purse!

My toothache is really playing up and getting me down now, have two weeks until my dentist appt. Am so warn down with it as its causing me headaches as well. I just wanna go to bed right now but the lunches and ironing wont do itself. Was just lieing on the sofa and could so easily just sleep!
Can't believe I have to go to work tomorrow, you know when you are in the mindset for a day off, oh well.

Kids have lost the back of my new blooming remote control, now the batteries keep falling out grrr. It must be in the front room somewhere but I cannot for the life of me find it!!!! How can something just disappear?

Read on BP tonight that virgin are stopping there free scratchie today :mad: and you can only play the free games if you play £1 the day before! They are all cottoning on and the only one I have left now is JPJ. How long will that last!

Another £9 on ebay over the weekend. need to stock up on supplies again :T

i remember when i was at school and it was photo day (many moons ago now)

Mum used to take us into the garden if it was summer when we had our good clothes on and take pictures there before we actually went to school, i remember once on the way home being taken via the library and having my hair brushed and a photo taken in there in a quiet corner so that the background was quite school like

Then if the school pics were rubbish Mum still had a couple of good pics in our best clothes, the library ones were great which meant that the official school ones didn`t need to be bought anyway so very MSE

If you have a good background at home ie bookcase etc then you could do your own "school pix" like Mum did and save a bit more
