FM Radio Switchoff

Hello,

I'm a newbie to these forums and as such I believe that I'm not allowed to post links to external websites yet.

There is a petition running on the Government's No.10 website to try and stop the proposed switchoff of the analogue radio signal in 2015.

I'm sure many moneysavers on here would be interested in signing the petition so that we don't all have to go spending money on new house & car radios.

Is there any way to let people know of this petition?

Is this the correct area of the forums to have this thread? Would MSE be willling to publicise this in their email? It's an issue that will effect lots of people, but I don't think many people know about it yet.

with regards for inclusion in the email you will have to ask 1 of the mse team with thise 3 letter beside their name.

This is definitely something that should be publicised to money savers - having to dump perfectly good radios and buy expensive new ones that use far more power is not very money-saving.
