Managed to get a refund

You were very lucky to get your money back. I bought a pair of shoes on 1st June, after wearing them 7 times the soles cracked open. Went to take them back yesterday and as I couldnt find the receipt, so took in a copy of my bank statement. I spoke to 2 managers in the shop and they point blank refused a refund without a receipt even though it was faulty goods, and I provided proof of purchase. Found the receipt today and got my refund, but am still annoyed about it and thinking about calling trading standards tomorrow.0
