iphone 3G update No more Internet!

I bought pay as u go iphone 3g last year, I have been using my O2 contract sim init with no problems. Just updated with 3.0 and I can no longer use 3g internet connection!! anyone know a way around this?

    I had this problem. You have to alter the Internet settings back to what they were before. I think it varies depending on whether you are using it with a contract or PAYG sim.

    Yep but 3G is enabled yet still it wont connect to my email account. Which other settings?

    Go to: Settings/General/Cellular Data Network/Cellular Data

    I have a contract tariff so I had to put in:
    APN: mobile.o2.co.uk
    username: mobileweb
    password: password

    To use mms I set the APN to: wap.o2.co.uk
    username: o2wap
    password: password

    You might need to Google different settings for PAYG
