Since we're all gonna be hit by the heat at some point this week, how about share tips on how to deal with it other than sit infront of the fan/freezer?

My best one is to use baby wipes and wipe any open skin with them especially the back of your neck.....even if the wipes are warm you wouldn't believe how cooling it can be

I've got some cooling mist, you can get it cheap if you look around (IIRC it's about £5-£6 in Boots but I paid £1-£1.50 for mine) it's lovely especially if your out in the sun xx

afternoon all
no wins again.
having never been stung before ive never bothered with bees or wasps, went out to bring washing in and put more out , never even saw the wasp the bugga stung me shoulder, i jumped, it cot in my hair stung my shoulder again then my back before flying off, was reaaly sore for a few minutes, dunno who upset it, but im officially scared off them now lol

Hi everyone, not been around a lot, busy busy busy! have I missed much?

probably won't be around much all this week as I have Health Visitor tommorrow morning, scan in the afternoon, Mum & Toddler support group & Docs appointment Thursday Then opticians Friday!!

Faaaar too hot for me this week, love the hot weather usually but it makes such a difference having a bump!!

I find the "sit and whinge until it goes away" technique works pretty well :rotfl: trust me, you don't want to hear me whinge!

Hi everyone

I've only just finished comps ending 30/06, been doing them for about 4 days! Baby is still covered in spots - he is asleep now but I'm having to keep his nappy off cos he is covered in spots underneath it and I want them to dry out. Have to keep chasing him round with Kitchen roll and carpet cleaner lol. Yesterday he took his own nappy off while I was out of the room, did a poo on the floor, and when I came back in he was trying to hoover it up with his toy hoover :eek::rotfl: I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!
OH is still over the moon with his x-box win from yesterday
