Don't cry Toto. I just don't know how you cope with it all - been reading your diary thingey.
Is there someone you can phone for a chat? OH is away isn't he?

:) thanks bookie, I must go an update it.

Hubby is away and I will call him in a bit. The poor thing is on the tour from hell though and frankly I'm amazed he's sticking it out. The band he is touring with are the biggest bunch of (think of a polite word...), well, use your imagination. They are horrible, rude and act like they are mega stars. idiots.

I would definitely complain Toto, that is awful. So the school run the sun club thing then?

    xx

Not Amber's school, it's a mainstream school. But they actively advertised at Amber's school making a huge deal out of taking special needs children. Obviously until they realise that our kids do take a little more work.

I wouldn't mind but they have provision in place (funding) for a 1 to 1 carer, so quite what this person is doing while she is off ringing bells and swinging on ropes I'll never know. On top of social services paying the £500 a week (which I had to pay for a while) I pay £20 per session, so financially they do ok out of her.

I might do tomorrow Sally, right now all I've got the energy for is to sit and cry and feel sorry for myself. It's days like this I wish mum were still alive, if nothing else she'd kick my @rse and tell me to pull myself together :)

Toto, I don't think she would, she would put her arms around you and say you are a great mother, coping well on her own and doing the best for your kids. She would say Amber is a special girl.....and anyone who says different will get a headbutt....:A

i think you should point that out to them, and then say that you'll obviously have to tell the relative depts that they are not looking after Amber and the funding will have to be pulled till you find somewhere that will.

Be sure to inform social-services that Amber won't be there. You wouldn't want a Oh-My-God-How-Could-We-Make-Such-A-Mistake-And-Claim-£500-A-Week-For-A-Child-Who-Wasn't-There-Like-We-Were-A-Bunch-Of-MPs error on the part of the school.
