Spud you should look for a 5k and start to build up more running and get up to that distance :) Then next 10k we do you can run it all :)

I will look into doing a 5k hun but I really cant imagine ever being able to run all that way :p

You've got to build it up slowly, I never thought I'd do a 10k either.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

You can do it spud, start by setting the treadie do do 500m, then up it every couple of days or however often you go on. Before you know it you will be running 1k, 3k 5k and so on. Remember you said you would never be able to walk 10k but you did :)

I'd really like it if you came to mine Spud (and Snags and Sal and Sammy and EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!!!) on the 19th-well, stay over on the 18th and then we can do the run on the 19th. Mini meet-ALL WELCOME running or not! Official cheerleaders welcome.

I love yesterday-loved it. I started to cry in the car on the way to work I was so pleased with my accomplishment. I hope that doesn't sound boastful, it's just that for once I went for a goal and reached it-the change it has made in my life is immeasurable. (is that a word?)

Blubbing again. Thank you, all of you xxx

That was kind of how I felt after London...I never seem to be able to acheive anything in my life, always dropping out because "thats what I do" better than failing! So when I finished LM it was one of the first times since I was a child that I truely felt I had accomplished something
