Morning soappie thats what went through my non-cooking head!!! but as i said to Sarah it would go to waste anyway so will have a try. Hows things with the book going? And whats the word on the mortgage?

The kids have got the mortgage offer - they are just waiting for the results of the valuation survey.

I did v. little on the book last week so this week I need to make a concerted effort on it. It'll help that I'll have to stay in. DS has sorted out the problem with the iPhone order and it's going to arrive 'in the next few days'. Mother is going to have to stay in and wait for it ~sigh~

I have bathed and am about to get dressed and put one load of washing on the line.

    I am still here!!! :xmastree:

I just had a very busy end-of-week, and couldn't post anything. I was still flying, but had a few dramas so didn't have time to post!
I'm going to have a little read of the end of last week's thread (see if you lot have had any dramas like the other week!! :rotfl:) and then have a look through the beginning of this thread - see if I can keep up with you all this week.

    Have a lovely day xx

    Please can I join again.....?

I had a nice suprise through the door on Saturday. A letter from the housing authority telling me they are going to refit new heating. I've just recovered from the trauma of a weeks notice to empty the loft!! So now I've got about 6 weeks to totally transform my house so the electricians can gain access to every room and take up carpets.

My DS and DP both gave me a helping hand by vomiting everywhere (well more the DS - DP is slightly more housetrained) since last Tuesday and DS is STIL ill. So that got me a bit more paranoid and poised with the disenfectant than normal. DS vomited down the back of his radiator so whilst I've cleaned what I can it will be a nice suprise for the poor sparky!!?!?!?

Ebay is def a good idea in my case as I need money and space. I WILL get a star this week!!

Thriftyscotslass - Hugs for you especially. My DS has high functioning autism / aspergers. I find that when I am in routines around the house it does help him a lot so another incentive.

    Have a good week everyone!!!

Greenbee - how do you manage to do so many steps? Most I've done is 9448!

    1. I don't have children
    2. I unload individual items from the DW, put them away, then go back for more
    3. I peg out individual items of laundry, and keep going back to the basket
    4. I walk to the village shop via the long route if I need shopping
    5. I walk to the coffee shop on the other side of the road at work
    6. I now volunteer to meet people near their desk rather than in my building...
    7. I usually (I had a lie in this morning :o) either go for a walk or to the gym every morning before work, which gives me between 5000 and 10000 steps to start the day. I also try to do some walking after work.
    8. Last week I was on a course in London and walked there and back every day... from Queenstown Road to Borough along the river...

I didn't do particularly well this weekend, as I was shopping both days, so didn't get a walk in. Saturday wasn't too bad, as I had to walk from my brother's house into Winchester, but yesterday I only managed about 5500 steps . Whereas two of my team did a 15 mile walk on Saturday...

I'm feeling lazy today, so have just done my last assessment meeting over the phone, and have now realised that the scores aren't consistent, but there is no point in trying to argue with this particular individual.

I don't need to leave the house until my 11am teleconference starts, so I've emptied the DW and put a load of washing on. I hope to hang it out before I leave and will keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't rain today.

I also plan to return the dress I bought on Saturday so I'll nip into town this evening and might go to yoga and the gym.

Toots - make sure you freeze any leftovers. You can always ask for suggestions as how to use them up, but you need to work on minimising the effort you put into looking after yourself, while still doing it properly.

No to one hotspot or even two :p ebay listings erm well this sort of has something to do with what I am thinking.........

So far I have emptied the TD and folded clothes, put all pots in the DW, not full enough to put on yet. Done the school run, just about to put more drops in my eyes as they are VERY itchy this morning :( I started rubbing them without thinking.
