    Hi guys.

    My list for today

    put sofa covers on sofa
    make DD1 lunch
don't strangle marking team leaders (where do they get these people?)

get off computer before I swear!!

hex hugs. We can't legislate who has children, though sometimes it might be a good thing!

tooch not mean at all, there's a winnie the pooh story about stealing the glory of someone else's kind efforts ( see, I'm dead literary, me!)

Kazmeister congrats! I don't know what for, but is it something where in about 5 months we will know what you've been up to?!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Feeling quite dispondant(think thats the word I am looking for?), told one of the mums today about the nappy cake and she had no idea what one was, so explained and she sort of laughed,(and suggested we put the things we have both got into one basket between us(don't want to after spending about £17-£20 on stuff, Am I mean??) so thinking of putting it all nicely into a basket I have. not sure, was quite looking foreward to doing it, but I have another friend who is pregnant later this year so may do one for her instead. oh don't know....
srry, that was a little moan going round my head and it had to come out xx

Toochoosey - You go ahead and make your nappy cake, I think it is something which will be special & unique for the mum to be, don't let the other 'friend' put you off making it. It will give you a great sense of achievement to have made it & I am sure the new mummy will appreciate the time & effort that you have gone too, to make it for her. Could your 'friend' be jealous?

Flying wise still decorating, freecycling & generally trying to get sorted as a week today I will be setting off for my new life in Spain. Yippeeeeee :j

Sorry... what's wrong with matching your pegs????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Seems perfectly normal to me!! OH thinks Im a bit odd for that! If Im hanging out sheets I make sure its hanging exactly level as well by matching up the corners, before I peg it!!(with matching pegs!!!):D

Oooh - me too!! Valli - quick!! - sign her up to the club before the others try and talk her out of matching pegs :p :rotfl: :rotfl:

hex - hugs for you and DS2; hope he is ok

toochoosey - I would go for it; I think they look great and it is more unusual

I can't see much more flying getting done this week as I have loads of reports and stuff to do.

    Two funny stories from school:

We were doing the story of the Creation and I asked them what God did on the 7th day as he was very tired. One boy looked very thoughtful and said 'ooh, let me think ..... I know ...... I think he played archery  :rotfl::rotfl:

One girl in another class was talking about her mum's new laptop and how she was allowed to use it. Teacher asked her what sort of laptop it was - after some thought, girl replied 'Oh, I remember the name - mum said it was a dodgy laptop  :rotfl: :rotfl:

Pleased with that! I've also done an hour and a half on the allotment, and found enough raspberries for tea.

In between, DD and I have searched town for a suitable bra - and have not succeeded. Compromise solution to be bought tomorrow morning - a multi way with a back adjuster. DD will have to go down on her own, as I'm working.

I've tried to keep up with the thread, but haven't read today. I've forgotten to get milk, so have to dash out for some, and hope to catch up later - have to do the online shopping as well. I need a day extension!!

    Hugs where needed!

Do your own, your friend will love it.

OH has just learnt that he is to be a gramps again in about 8 months time, so fingers cross for a good DD preg..

don't think I am realistically going to be able to catch up but I am here and I have fluttered. WM overnight, left out all day so nice and dry.
I am working tomorrow (1 days supply with my own class).
Garden strawberries for tea - mine have fruited well this year!

tooch make the nappy cake, it sounds like your other friend might be jealous. I had never heard of them until I saw some on these forums several months ago. I would have loved to have received one when the SW's were little. To my mind it shows more thought on your part. x
