    Thanks Pigpen/Jo

I have to go to S'nage on Thursday and they have a Primark. I am guessing at the 11-12 bit, he is 13 but lots of his clothes are still 9-10 bless he is a dot.

I've got a splitting head ache from the weather and I've pulled my shoulder too so I think lunch and some Ibup.

Picked a punnet of raspberries but somebody else can lean over and do the strawberries.

Tis a shame you're not closer - you'd be welcome to come along! I'd quite like to have some company instead of a spare ticket!

SSL - I won't post the weather forecast for here then!! Mind you, the threat of anything from 24 - 28 degrees in the week is NOT funny

Jo - wow! They were definitely worth listing :D

hex - brilliant! Well done to DS1 :D

Spose I need to do more reports  I made breakfast earlier and then didn't really want it! Might pop to the shop so I get a bit of fresh air and then settle down to the laptop.

Patio powerwashed now, so looks a bit better in the garden, and MIL buried the parts of dead bird that some animal had left on the lawn. YUCK! I will need to have another wash too cos when the pressurewasher hit the cracks in the patio slabs, the mud blew up into my face and blinded me!

Just eaten 3 more of our home grown strawberries - they were only put in this year so haven't produced much yet, so we're picking them as they ripen.

Off to find some lunch now.

FFP - we're going to the treehouse at alnwick castle for my mum's birthday in a couple of weeks, i've been before and love it there.Hope you have a nice time there!

FFP, I love the sound of your grandad’s dictionary. I love words, especially unusual words, and I love finding out the origins of words. You will have to post one new word a day for us all to learn! I’ve been to Alnwick, not to the castle but to the garden there. They have a great treehouse caf! there! I would love to go to the castle one day.

Got to agree with the gardens, castle, treehouse feedback for Alnwick, it is really nice. Only negative is the amount it costs to get in the garden for adults. There is an offer on the website http://www.alnwickgarden.com/ . Treehouse is really expensive for food but the quality is supposed to be amazing, they do an early bird special (details on website again)

Thanks ladies I will have to go now to see what I'm missing.
