    Afternoon all

Two loads of washing done, dried and put away including the throws from the living room. It's really hot here.

Roast dinner cooked, eaten and cleared away. I'm even hotter now! But I wanted to use up some Maris Pipers before the shopping comes on Tuesday.

Otherwise, just generally tidied round etc.

Good job you've done there Kazm!

Think Ds is going to 'go for' for the 14 yo who's local...please not the 18 YO

Frod - he can enjoy it while he's young...more than tha I dare not see but neither of us are in the sort of position where we would meet strapping hunks at work so either we get out and make an effort or not.
Gutted this week when we had a fireman in school and they sent a female fire officer...

Maths plan printed plus all extra papers prepped AND (Taa Daa) whiteboard files ALL done with relevant eyecatching pictures to support my teaching....

(We are packing 4 children into some cars; total 19 kids and we have to work out how many cars will be needed!)

  • Well that took way too long - I am so rubbish at this!

I now have 2 very grumpy teenagers as I have been asking them to actually do some work instead of staring at the computers - still no movement though!

Will try again in a minute - I have listed 2 items on ebay as I said I would - also done one load of washing.

Right I will try a HHC and see where I get after that.

I need to get DS2 a smart shirt for a party, he wants white long sleeves with slight white stripe in - not something I usually need to buy - age 11-12 probably - any ideas as to where I might find one?

try your local freecycle, they usually come up trumps.

Oh poo! It's raining and I only just put the washing out! There's another load in the WM too, so just rushed first load into the TD. Cat has run off to hide as OH is using his hedgetrimmer to cut back some of the overgrowth in the garden, and LBF is terrified of the sound of lawnmowers or anything that sounds similar to them.

Trying to declutter the shelves under the coffee table as there's stuff on there I'm sure we don't need any more. It's recycling bins this week, so determined to make the most of chucking some paper.

  • It is a slightly improving picture I suppose -

In my HHC - I did another load of washing up including the roasting tin that was disgusting.
Also washed the tray full of pegs that was also horrid and had been there for weeks - tray washed and will not be put back but will go to the charity shop in the bag I have just started.

Washing machine unloaded and another load started off - got DS to strip his bed finally and also to bring down his washing - why do teenage boys smell!

Then swept kitchen floor as it is awful - just needs to be washed.

right I am going to hang out the first load of washing and then list another item on ebay
Also will pick up and put away at least 5 things from the tip that calls itself our living room!

Will make a cup of tea first and try and find something to eat! DS states that there is NO food in the house - he night be right actually but I don't want to go shopping today - I hate doing the food shop......

    Hi all
Have been busy busy today. Along with all of the things gone off my list, I've rang my friend who's birthday it is, checked train tickets for going to hers next weekend, swimming, bought strawberries (offer in Mr T yum yum), ruthlessly sorted my sock drawer and a load of other bits and bobs. Haven't vacuumed yet, doing that in a little while, or sorted uni files, I hate doing it and keep putting it off.

    Decluttering challenge ~ Wednesday
    1. Declutter recipe book shelf of random scraps of paper - write recipes in book
    WEEKEND Frolics
    1. Sort through the freezer.. what do you have loads of and what needs using first.. vacuum up those escaping peas and brussels!!
    2. Meal plan for the next week and make a shopping list... based on what you found in the freezer
    3. clean any windows that need it
    4. Vacuum those places that you missed during the week, or worse, miss every week!!.
    5. Do a D.I.Y. job, fix something you've been putting off forever!! - I superglued the inside of a shoe back in, does that count?
    6. Make a big pan of carrot soup for the freezer - it's just cooling waiting to be blended and put into tubs.
Ooooooh while I was sorting my socks, I took out the drawer to check for strays, and i found..... A whole file of financial stuff left by someone who lived here before us!! Taking it down to reception first thing in the morning, don't know what else to do.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday
