    I think the sort your talking about are henna tattoos , which are often done abraod and aren't the proper henna ink , and can cause terrible reactions.

    I think the op is talking about the little stick on ones which are completely different. As pps have said , nail varnish remover should break them down.

    If the OP is on about the temp tattoo tranfers you get (i.e. in kids bubble gum etc), then you might find a bit of sun lotion might help shift it, My DS had one on his arm last week, and after spraying sun lotion on it, it started to break up and washed off easily without causing the skin to go sore. Good Luck.

    Have you tried using sellotape to remove stick on tattoos? This works a treat - but only use normal stuff NOT the brown parcel tape as it is too harsh and pull off their skin!

    or Aftershave :)

    Spray on and wipe with a flannel :)

    vegetable oil. I used olive oil. perhaps the baby oil didnt work as its mineral oil?
