    Debt-free and Proud!
:A Another positive for Payplan they literally saved my life things were that bad. Now I can sleep at night and worry a lot less. I intend to pay every penny I owe back but its going to take a very long time.

Initially one of my creditors also rang me at approx 8pm on my birthday, I told them it was not convenient to talk - stupidly I said I was in a restaurant. The very abrubt female at the end of the phone asked how could I afford to eat out if I couldnt afford my credit card bill!!
My mam was paying for the meal - I was so upset.

Things have quietened down lately - I get the odd letter regarding fixed payment term due to expire (I had one yesterday). I called the company involved they didnt even ask a single question just put a further 3 months fixed payment on it. The lovely man said they would send me a letter every three months and they would keep extending the fixed payments for as long as I needed it. :iloveyou:

Things do settle down eventually xx

Quick update, everything seems to be going alright. Every creditor who has called has been fine just taking the token payment and the reference. Apart from the girl from Provident, who despite being nice as pie for weeks, suddenly decided I was evil tonight:rolleyes: Accused me of defruading them:T

Anyway the plan isnt in place officially as waiting for my new bank details. Just how long does it take. Sent off the application 9 days ago and no matter who I call noone seems to give me answer. Highly annoying as my cut off date to get my salary paid into a new account was yesterday:mad:Any suggestions what to do with my Natwest loan. I can cancel the DD obviously, but surely they will just reinstall it:confused:
