Virgin Cable Internet Questions

Hi

I am thinking of moving from PlusNet to Virgin. I am in a cable area. I have asked Virgin how they would run the cable from the road to the inside of my house but did not get a decent reply from the Virgin person (instant messaging via Virgin website).
I have a flagged drive and brick garden wall. My phone line enters the house at the front and my TV arial enters at the back of the house.

Can anybody comment on:

1/ The cable service from Virgin?

2/ The installation of the cable?

I am thinking of Broadband plus phone and maybe TV, any comments good or bad?
