Can you automate email replys within Ebay?

When I go on holiday soon, I was wondering whether you can set up a standard email reply within Ebay to inform people who send me a question, that I am out of the office & will be returning on a certain date?

When I go on holiday I put my emails onto "holiday response" which is also known as out of office reply. Any question sent via ebay then generates a message to the sender so they're told I'm away.0

I think unless you have an ebay shop, you need to do it via your email account. I'm with BT and on my email it's listed as "holiday response" under mail options. It's also often called "out of office reply" but you need to look for it under your email account not on ebay0

I've got an eBay shop & I still can't see anywhere for automating the emails while away. You can put your shop in holiday mode but that unfortunately that doesn't mean any emails will be replied to automatically. The shop will be closed while away but its just the usual "I've not had my item yet" people who, if they don't get a response within 12 hours then start a Paypal dispute!
If I set it up via normal email, wouldn't any Ebay messages just go back to Ebay & not to the person asking the question?0
