They also seem keen to ask the courts to put to the test if the items were bought as a consumer or in a business capacity. I can not see why this matters as the contract is the same isn't it? Do B&Q not supply the trade??? Do I have more than one downpipe on my house??? If I had purchased in a business capacity surely I would have used my business account to buy the purchases, so I could recoup vat??
It has made me very annoyed - do B&Q wish to keep me as a customer?

Who's leading for the defence Perry Mason ???? is it a murder trial or something ?
What on earth difference does it make if it was bought for business use or how many downpipes a house has got.
The reasons a purchase was made has got nothing whatsoever to do with B&Q !
Are B&Q going to start having people fill in an application form before a customer can make a purchase or something? I can see it now.....
If purchasing a 5ltr can of paint please confirm you are painting 4 walls and not 2
Or perhaps
If purchasing this scewdriver please indicate if you are using this in the home or at the office and how many screws you intend to use it on

 Thats brilliant how much does that sort of kit cost, I'm going to go to the next hearing and get them to show me one of these workingIt then goes on to mention, as an example "Zanussi Integrated dishwasher - £94 delivered @ B&Q Possible misprice".
Next time we see something like
Heavy Duty Mattock with Hickory Shaft £9.98 in B&Q
Was £17.98 Now £9.98
We shouldn't bother ordering one because it's got to be a misprice and if we realy do insist in buying one we should insist on paying £17.98
I wish I'd bought one of these now because I'd have loved a day in court with this sort of stuff :rotfl:It's not just about the money0 -

I'm surprised too and to start knocking Forums like this doesn't do them any good ...they fail to mention all the free sales leads they get from the likes of here and HDUK etcIt's not just about the money0 -

Only the one.
The strangest thing is they could of and should of offered say £10 vouchers at the beginning as a goodwill gesture and asking to sign as a full and final settlement. OK, not everyone would have accepted, but some would and it would have stopped them "waiting in the wings" to see how this "pans out" - an opportunity lost, as far as I am aware.
The amount of items ordered is irrelevant, the law is the same. Interesting to see what is supplied, if supplied.
