We also had the kitchen door issue, the dishwasher issue and now the rainwater tank issue. Any more??

Not only do they not know the meaning of "Discretion", but it can be said they don't know the meaning of "rare" either.

Many thanks silk - it does indeed prove these instances are "rare". ;)
I started off writing down all B&Q's issues on a sheet of A4 paper and had to move on to a roll of lining paper. :rotfl:

Edit: Away for a few days, enjoy the Bank Holiday - have fun.

Slightly off-topic. On page 25 of this topic but in B&Q Exeter a couple months ago this was £20, we picked it up there and then. It was old stock or something.

Hope everyone's court cases go well and you get your tank, fees and compensation!

Not to my knowledge but the question was raised after Tom won the dishwasher case in court. Perhaps some people will take it further?

It's only the number of times B&Q have screwed up that really matters, to show these are NOT rare occurances.

i think the garden sheds would have fallen down in legal terms under the price mistake rule. If the person buying knows it has to be a price error, the retailer can wrangle out of it and it would be realistic to show that garden rooms should not be that cheap. However, what price a lump if plastic deemed "clearout of stock"

I think the price mistake error would be argued but the problem is there been loads of items sold by B&Q with 90% discounts etc over the years,
Not sure if the thing was plastic too wasn't it ???:rotfl:
