Would just like to point out to others that B&Q may join the website, and start posting false posts to lead people down the wrong path.

So any new posters, just be careful in what advice they give.

Quite possibly, but by now everyone should have all they need.

Copy of T&C's at the time of purchase, and ready to ask the questions:

1. Was a legally binding contract formed?
2. How can "discretion" be used when they never had enough stock?
3. loss of bargan.
4. Refer to Beckett v B&Q dishwasher case (previous ruling).

Anything else is a bonus, but for me the above is enough to warrant a ruling.

you wont believe the emails I have had from people who have heard it who have had the same issues with B&Q, looks like there could be more claims for all sorts of things.

hello i couldn't believe it when i heard on the radio this morning driving to work that sumbody was gonna take b&q to court for the water store as b&q told me they couldnt accept my order. the thread was very enjoyable and the web site is v good i will now send b&q a letter then file my claim GOODLUCK EVERYBODY

include screen prints of the order stage to prove that B&Q does not show you, refer you or bind you to any terms and conditions during the sales process. these are on my website, i can email bigger copies if you need them.
