Harsh!!
What I meant was do I write to my housing officer? Clerk of works? I don't want to post a letter that would just get ignored so would rather send it to someone as opposed to office.Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10

Have you considered complaining to the County or District Fire Service?
By "on call" fireman I presume you mean a retained firefighter (non gender specific these days if you please! )? Which means they're part-time and get a retainer for training and being available then an hourly rate for shouts so if he doesn't get to the station quickly and misses the turn-out he won't get as much - which is probablty why he's driving like a complete prat.
Make a complaint to the chief fire officer and they will have to investigate it as he'll be considered on duty, and their responsibility, from the moment he gets the call out.
Do hope your house don't catch fire though!
AKA the paramedics and police, occasionally the fire service. Never known anyone from a Local Authority do it!!To: The Person Who Mops Up Dead Children on Pavements0 -
Find out who the chief execs are of the housing assoc and the council and write the letter to them.
Address the envelope by hand and marked 'private and confidential' hopefully should find it's way into the right hands.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

They get £50 for turning up and a bonus if they get there quick enough to go out in the fire engine.
If my house ever did catch fire then I'd expect them to deal with it in a safe and orderly fashion...not like boy racers potentially putting people's lives at risk...and if he wasn't quick enough to leave then he wouldn't be able to drive over the footpath to get the fire station as it would be blocked by the fire engine :rolleyes:Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
