Starting to work out that I need to eat every few hours, lunch was at 12.30ish and I've got the shakes now so eating some oatcakes with cream cheese. Going to have to find some friendly snacks and actually think about this stuff, plan meal times and snack times. Taking DH up with me on Tuesday, no offence to him but I want him to be there when they tell me what I should and shouldn't do. I'm guessing eating regular small meals is one (he was telling me I couldn't be hungry when we were out as I'd not long had lunch). Dunno, just want him to hear it from someone else rather than think I'm taking the P.

MSE - My local asda has 2 plain white hooded baby towels half price to £2.50 and 2 moses/pram flanette sheets (cream or white) down to £1.50! DH spotted them, and picked them up! :j

Tia - at least you had lunch :o It is all about small meals, little but often. not doing what I have today which is breakfast at 8am, a pain au chocolate and ice lolly :o at 1pm and tea now! I had chicken and egg fried rice with veg - brown rice and had a bigger portion to make up for tea which is very naughty. I know feel tired and irritable - I had an hrs nap at 4pm.

Realised you can have fruit but it has to be in small portions so don't sit and much your way thru a bag of grapes, just eat a handful. I've bought some fruit ice lollies with ice cream in so I only have a portion of ice cream instead of most of a tub!

I think I will take OH with me too - one so he can see what I can't eat but also because I know that once he knows he won't let me eat them!
I try to avoid taking him because he worries too much!

    HELP NEEDED

This is a statement from the DirectGov website

I start work in a new job for another employer?
If you start work for a new employer before your baby is born, your SMP is not affected.
After the baby is born, if you work for an employer who did not employ you in the 15th week before your baby was due, your SMP must stop. You must tell the employer paying you.
If I told my current employer I wanted Mat Leave and SMP to start on Sunday August 16th (so my last day would be Friday 14th August), I could start my new job on Monday 17th August and still be entitled to SMP but obviously won't work for them until I return to work next year.

anyone know who they best organisation is that I could ring to check this?

Glam, I just had my MIL on the phone asking what the result was. She sounded so fkn happy that I had GD, her words 'oh! That means we might have a big baby this time!' I could just hear the 'squeeee!!!!' at the end. Yeah, wonderful, except if it is suspected to be over 8lb it means an automatic section seeing as I have had one already (Consultant mentioned it when I was asking about a VBAC, too risky to VBAC a large baby also the increased risk with induction and GD). Cow that she is *huffs* Should have said 'yeah, and a risk that baby will have heart problems, breathing problems, blood sugar problems, jaundice etc on top of the risks already given my oh so !!!!!!! perfect history'.

I'm a little irritable also. :rotfl:

But she is taking the boys on Tuesday so I can drag DH up with me. God knows I need some bloody moral support, if I have to sit and explain that I am actually married (and we are still together) but my husband happens to work full time hence he is not with me once more I will SCREAM!!!

Oh god, I've now started a rant about anything and everything, I'm sick of soda water and water, dinner made me feel sick even though I knew I had to eat some of it (gammon steak, salad and 4 small new potatoes with green tails). I've got indigestion, braxton hicks, cramps, sore back, kids are annoying me, DH threw a strop when I asked him to move the table back in (we pull it out to eat) and shoved the thing so hard the dishes went flying (so I threw a strop about how I do it every fkn night and make teh damn dinner and wash the *bleeping bleeping bleepity bleep* dishes!).

I must stop. I should nap. My head hurts too.

Oh, and!! How can I have 1 little pile if I've had diareah since the second trimester huh?:mad::mad:
