I am now on holiday for 8 days!!! Yipppe! Work was so busy today, my back is now killing me so I have sent OH out for chips for tea.

Harley- well done you for painting the nursery. We have got as far as picking colours, but now need to strip the old wall paper, polyfilla and then paint!

I have been on my tour of my delivery suite this afternoon. Very useful for DH especially, as now he knows exactly where he needs to take me and what to expect when we get there.

Mine would need 10 tours - he has no sense of direction! I'll need to direct him to the hospital, navigate him around the hospital car park, through the hospital and to the Labour Ward!

I painted over the wallpaper and didn't fill the holes :o

OH has noticed we have a wasps nest somewhere in the roof - he's seen a load of wasps going under the scotia so we probably have a nest in the roof or attic! Right above the nursery!
Wondered why I found 3 dead wasps upstairs when we came back from hols!

Don't say 10 weeks like that, my heart just skipped a beat!!!!

Can't believe it is so close, I'm so excited but that is starting to scare me.

GISI - it was picking the colour that held me up. I knew exactly what I wanted but I couldn't find the right one. I usually won't use any paint other than Crown as I have had problems before but the only pinky colour I liked I already have in my room. I looked at everything, even getting testers made up of the dulux mixed ones. Then I found a Homebase own paint and it just so happened that it was half price last weekend so I sent my mate off to get it for me and it was the best colour, exactly what I wanted. Coverage is not too bad either but it really sprayed off the roller and I ended up with as much up my arm as I did on the walls.

Not sure when my tour of the hospital is, booked in for parent classes but not heard anything about the antenatal yet. might have to chase that up soon, don't want to be missed off the list. Thankfully, all my lovely friends have offered to take me to hospital and take it in turns with me during labour if I want them to. I have been threatened that if I get a taxi to hospital none of them will come and visit me.

Off to tesco and for fish and chips as a reward for all my hard work.

:rotfl:Sounds like mine, hence why I have a HB. When we went in to get me checked one afternoon he went off to find a toilet and got lost on his way back. Without me next to him at all times he's hopeless, and he has a weird habit that I've never understood as he doesn't read signs. Whether driving or walking!
Too many children, too little time!!!

we had one a few years ago. we couldnt figure out at first where all the dead wasps were from. paid rent-a-kill to sort it. could have prob done through the council but if i remember rightly we still had to pay costs fro it.

Tara - do we have the same OH? Mine doesn't read signs either!
Once he borrowed my sat nav (although I never use it!), still got lost, didn't read the signs cos it was raining so missed the Motorway junction and I had to go out in my car to try and find him!

I don't know exactly where the nest is. Guess one of us will need to go up the attic and see what we can see. All we can see now is wasps flying under the scotia and disappearing. Council is about £60 I think.

    There's always bl00dy something!
