    Hi Jillie

Well done on your jobs. I've done enough and can barely move so I'm taking it easy watching NCIS whilst I wait for Tesco to calm down a bit.

Aren't people lovely when it comes to babies. I keep getting told off by lots of people because I've already bought things. Although no clothes or toys yet, well except a couple of teddys but that's mummys perogative isn't it. Trouble is, now that everyone is asking what presents they can get her I've already got most of it. Rest is bedding and lightshade, clothes, monitor, mobile and toys for the pushchair. Feel a bit ungrateful when I say that she has all the big stuff already.

  • yay! shiny new thread!

just been for my 4d scan and Cub was not well behaved. the sonographer said she was the only baby that day not to play ball! So have to go back in the week to see if we can get some pics (got to have coffee and choc before hand to get her hyper - no problem there!) Really disappointed as was looking forward to seeing her face... hopefully will do better next week...

i havent bought any of the big stuff yet!! i've seen what i (we) want just waiting for the baby fund to be a bit higher. mil keeps saying oh we'll give you money towards that etc , but hasnt yet. my mum siad she was saving but i dont know what for. hoping she might tell me she is over in august! my sis is buying moses basket and baby bouncer. so really we only need travel sysem/pram/pushchair/car seat combo and cot. and clothes and things. am picking up bits and bobs when i do a big shop but panic at times that i wont have enough or have bought the wrong thing.

    hello!

Been up the pub to watch the Lions play and ended up staying for ages! Had an all day breakfast as well so will cook tea a bit later.

Might be doing car boot tomorrow but we have a christening at 3.30pm so want to make sure I have enough time to make myself to look pretty! Gonna have a rest for a bit then start sorting out my car booty bits to sell!!

Need all the extra money we can get now - my junk could be someone else's treasure!!

Gosh its been quiet in here this afternoon!

Honeypop - labour vibes coming your way, I was sure you had given birth overnight last night!

pookie - (((HUGS))) I can't believe that someone can be so mean , Of course you can't do bed baths, especially when you have had some bleeding already in your pregnancy. I am sending that biatch evil thoughts .

I have been on my tour of my delivery suite this afternoon. Very useful for DH especially, as now he knows exactly where he needs to take me and what to expect when we get there. I loved the Birth suite, which had a "holistic" feel to it with lots of home comforts, low lighting and had a relaxed atmostphere. There were 2 rooms with no bed at all - just a mattress on the floor if you wanted a more "natural" birth experience. But didn't get to see the birth pool which I really wanted to see as it was in use.

We timed the journey getting to our hospital and it took 30 minutes in light traffic. So worse case scenario and I go into labour during rush hour, it will probably take 50-60 minutes to get there, which is longer than I thought, but lets hope baby comes in the middle of the night instead .
