    Hugs to Beenie. x

Fidget - I am sure it's just normal pregnancy hormones. I think most people have been tearful, so some things seem much worse than they are. I am sure it will pass.

I have spent the morning at work so far wiping the white board, and I feel really sick (or high with the marker pens)! I accidentally wrote all over it a month ago in permanent marker!!! Only realised when I went to update it last night. After spending hours googling, I concluded that the best thing to do was write all over it again in white board marker pens and then rub it off. I have basically coloured the whole board in and it has worked, but the fumes from the pens have made me feel sicky.

How stupid am I?! Although, to be fair, I had asked the person in charge of stationery for some white board markers and she gave me permanent ones, so my failure was really trusting her!! lol.

Fidget - not like clinical depression, but I will say that the lack of sleep has made me really uncharacteristically down and frustrated. We just moved DS2 into a bed from his cot, and he's getting up all hours of the night to play (figured out how to turn his bedroom light on, the sneak!) and gets up for the day at 4am EVERY morning now. So I've had next to no sleep all week. Between that and being huge and uncomfortable now, I'm not dealing well with things at all. DH was not quite getting exactly how bad off I was until he was home all day Sunday and Monday and got up at 4 am (after getting up a number of times during the night) and then went through a whole day with no downtime, no nap, barely time to do anything - then it seemed to click with him where I'm at. He works nights, so usually the night stuff and getting up at 4am is my domain as he's not here. But now he's adjusting his sleep schedule to help out - so I can get a nap in for the afternoon. I truly was starting to feel like I was losing my mind - my patience suffered, and I honestly could not deal with any plan changes or disruptions. Maybe not quite the same thing as what you're experiencing, but I will say a bit of support from DH has gone a long way in restoring a teeny bit of my sanity. If it hadn't, I would've gotten ahold of the midwife and spoke to her. Would that be something you could do? See if the midwife can refer you to someone if need be?

Beenie - so sorry about your cat - really hope things start to get a bit more settled for you soon hun x

Was wanting to ask, is/has anyone else had a bit of depression during their pregnancy? I had it when I was carrying Emma and now it's seems to be popping up again for a few days a week. It's not terribly severe but it's making every argument with my OH seem like it's the end, every chore that needs to be done seem like a mountain to climb and now Emma is going to be having these tests etc for learning difficulties and ASD I've become very tearful about it and worried about how it's going to affect the rest of her life.

Sorry for having a moan there's just no one else here to tell! x

Hi - I've had some depression. I do get it anyway but I have definitely had some while pregnant after a loooong time of being fine, and I think it's the hormones.

I've found some days very hard, but I just try and not do anything on those days and then when I feel better I blitz things (physically and emotionally).

OH doesn;t get it - doesn;t get the whole pregnancy being hard thing to be honest - and I do some days feel everything is too much like hard work, but try and hold onto those days when you feel good.

Get out every day for a bit of sunlight, even a walk round the block, and be kind to yourself.

If it's bad, talk to your MW or GP as it's a recognised condition separate to normal depression and they can help you.

I'm dashing off now to a bumps and babies cafe to try and meet new people, so have a good day everyone.
    xx

Sorry, nothing to report but more back pain, pelvis pain and lower belly cramps. I've been asleep, is all. I'm now frantically making plans for the end of this week because it would be just like this contrary little inhabitant to make me break them.

I'm a lot better today than I was last night, but then that wouldnt be too hard !!
On the plus side though, I am wearing a pair of pre pregnancy trousers today !! In all fairness they were a bit big on me before I got pregnant, but still, they are not mat trousers, so I feel quite good about myself :)

How did the sweep go yesterday? Do you feel OK ?

SS - Maybe bubs will decide to stay for the duration if you think that. Just checked your due date - sorry thought you were due this week for some reason but you still have a few weeks to go.

MM - it must be frustrating for you. Sorry I can't even begin to imagine how you are feeling at the moment and can't think of any words to say.
