DSS is 9 and will change Benjamins nappies (only wet ones LOL) he also likes to pick the fluff from between Benjamins toes - a job that can be done by a brother or sister of any age

IHF – Congrats on your pregnancy. Must be terrible losing the other twin, but lucky that one has stuck around. x

SJ – Congrats on the new house! Sounds ideal.

MM – hugs to you. It must be pretty shocking to hear, but at least you know it’s only a chance, so fingers crossed he gets home tomorrow and progresses well.

Which reminds me - don't let anyone tell you that you can't have a drink if you are breastfeeding...my MW told me that I needed a glass of wine on day 3

As long as you are not drinking to excess the odd tipple here or there is fine

Maybe it's just all the tension from the last 2 weeks spilling over!!!

MFD - I always said I wouldn't drink through pregnancy but in the month of June I've had a glass of wine, half a cider and another glass of wine (on 3 seperate occasions!). My problem is OH and his family don't think you can stop at 1 drink which is why I never like to drink around them!

MIL said as soon as baby is born I could get wrecked and she would look after bean - the problem is I don't WANT to get wrecked!!

Glam - the mattress we are getting is a Cosatto foam mattress (Cosi Kip Mattress), but only because it comes free with the cot bed we have bought. Woman in shop said it would do for a while, but wouldn't last when baby gets a bit older. We will probably go for a sprung mattress.

Is the GTT test only for certain people at risk of diabetes? Lots of you seem to be going for it.

GTT is for people with family history of Type 1 Diabetes and people with a high BMI. I think all PCT's are different though. My Mum has Type 1 that's why I'm having it.

I like the fruit ciders you can get or Strongbow Sirrus - gorgeous with ice in the garden when it's hot!!
