I'm currently 16th on the list and want to be higher. 15th would be nice, but if pinkpig, tara and MTW would obligingly have their babies today I'll shoot right up to 12th.
It is starting to occur to me that, much as I was certain I was going early, this baby might actually be going to term. I realise there's still 4 1/2 weeks, but all early escapes have been shut down so far and everything looks serene except for my lingering and not unexpected backache.
What a great name, xmas. Classic and cool.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Sarah Joanne, is that a new EDD?
Would you mind moving saver_ram from the EDD list to the probably given birth list please? I don't want to re-paste the list so soon but I'm enjoying watching my name creep higher and higher, and she's over two weeks past EDD so should be busy with her bubs
Well, it's the only date we've been given that was in any way accurate! We were given a provisional date of January 15th or something from the Dr but that didn't take into consideration my irregular ovulation (I actually OVed about 2 months after AF:eek:)
So when we had the scan that showed I was only 5 weeks the MF at our appointment last week revised the date to take this into consideration!
But I never added myself before so thought it was about time I did!
Sorry for the long winded answer!!
And I've moved saverram in the EDD post0 -
Back from appointment. BP and everything else was fine. She said I was a nice size for my dates so that's good. My feet have been badly swelling recently so mentioned it to be on the safe side, but nothing to worry about and not much we can do. It's going to be hot this week again, so dreading it!
Xmas - Joseph is a nice name, but OH doesn't like anything remotely religious/biblical. I like it though and like Joe/Joey.
Pink - you are nearly at the top of the list now! Have you at least got a central contact number where someone could go and get your husband? What did people do in the days before mobiles lol?!!!
I asked this last night, but no-one responded so chancing my arm again:
Can anyone recommend decent, comfortable belt for a size 14 pregnant lady? I hate ones with buckles as they dig in when I sit down! When I google pregnancy belt, it brings up loads of support belts etc. I just want a kind of normal one which won't dig in. Do you think a bump band would be suitable? I just thought they were for concealing open buttons on normal trousers.
TIA. x
Best get ready for work now.....:(0 -
Sorry, SJ, I just realised like I'm asking about your EDD like it's a nice new coat.
Oooh, what a lovely EDD, where did you get it?
Edit: Fitzio, I've been using my bump bands as belts for months. My jeans from Next had a belt but it wasn't comfortable.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Wow thats a big miscalculation Sarah on their part it could have been interesting for you if they had stuck to the original date.
SS i hope i am wrong and he doesnt come early last one arrived 5 wks early its just my bump has dropped and he feels really heavy in my pelvis at the moment which is exactly what happened before. Luckily Ben was small but perfectly formed and this one is very active and strong according to the midwife so as long as its no earlier than 35 weeks I wouldnt be overly worried.
pinkpig, tara and MTW are getting extra strong labour vibes lets get SS up to 12th :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Mine's really low down as well, and the heartburn has blessedly stopped. I've already gone longer than all the women on my mother's side of the family - they're early birthers with massive (for dates) healthy babies. I was 32 weeks and well over 5lbs.
My cervix is stubbornly refusing to budge though, and I've been so used to the idea that I'd have the baby by the end of June that I'm disappointed now as well as very fed up with the idea that I have to keep being this big!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

God that would have stung if he had gone full term ben was 4lb 13oz at 35wks and they said if he had gone full term he would have been 8.5lb to 9lb in weight i dread to think how big yours would have been.
Lots of sex thats what you need and not the gentle loving kind a good quick bonk (sorry for being so lude but it works it brought my lolly on):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Congratulations and welcome to the Newbies.
Labour vibes to Pinkpig and any others that need them.
MM, Hope Dylan is home asap.
Well Take That were Fab! As were The Script. Excellent Day, though i felt that my lower back was going to break and my feet would fall off. lol!
Got home at 12.30am and my bedtime is usually 10pm.
OH then woke me at 2.30am, to say he was taking himself to the hospital.
(Sorry TMI alert) Severe pain, when going to the loo and heameroids and lots of blood again. Another symptom of his Colitis / Proctitis. Couldn't go with him because of DS.
So i lied awake for hours worrying. He came back at 5.45am. A&E said they couldn't do anything, he also has another blockage in his intenstine and is aneamic and they gave him no meds. He needs to see is consultant. Who he had already mentioned this to last week. But he said it would be fine. Well its not its it:mad:. Great and OH was supposed to start back work on Wed at reduced hours. Not going to happen now.
I am now in work shattered due to loooong day at Take That and not much in the way of sleep.
On pregnancy related things. I have Gestational Diabeties test tomorrow and i am also booked into see the consultant to discuss my options as to Elective Section or VBAC. Then community midwife on Wednesday. Need to remember to ask for HIP grant form, as i am 28 weeks.
Hope everyone has a good day, in this fine sunny weather. So glad a bought a few maternity dresses on Ebay.0
