Yeah so you get 33 days then - 25 days plus the 8 bank holidays. Apparently it changed 1st April but I'm not convinced!

Congrats Charlie - we need more team pink! Blue team is kicking a$$

I was told by the supermarket checkout lady yesterday that my bump was definitely girl shaped. Does that count, seeing as I'm not planning on finding out until ground zero? :rotfl:

Morning! Last day of work before I go on holiday! *does a dance*

Starting to feel strange around the middle now as bump grows. Can't imagine what it'll be like as I get a proper one!! Right now just feels weird & almost surreal.

rang the number mw gave me for the antenatal classes. the next ones start on the 13 july. which is a monday 7-9pm. not too bad but i'll prob have to chang back to a late shift then as my colleague who usually gives me a lift to work on a monday so i can do an early is working in another store for 3 weeks!! wonder if manager would let oh swap to a early shift on a monday?? the lady said i was prob a little early for going but they wont be running another set of classes till after the summer... and they do birthing/labour classes on a thurs so i/we could go to them for a refresher the couple of weeks before the due date.
siad they have plenty of places but i may get hubby to ring and ask our manager today rather than wait till mon. balls i forgot to ask how many mondays they are for!!!
or i can wait and see if the midwife i am supposed to see organises hers....but she said they get booked up quickly.... oh i dont know what to do... help!! oh willprob say ''i dont mind, whatever''

Jillie - I had a nightmare with the NHS classes as well, and in the end booked some private ones. But my NHS ones were on Saturdays, which was why I couldn;t do them as they clashed with stuff I already had on.

Cute photos of dylan MM bet you were over the moon to hold him.

My Ds was a such a star yesterday he had to go to the hospital and have some blood tests ( i swear i might as well have my own room and bed at that place i am always there) He didn't moan or even shed one tear as they took his blood. They tried to distract him but he wanted to watch. The nurse said look at all that blackcurrent juice coming out of your arm, He replied no silly it's blood :rotfl:No fooling him. He wouldn't even have a plaster on. He got 2 stickers and 2 lolly's from the nurses but i don't think he would have minded not getting them.

I need to go shopping while he is at pre-school i have a surprise party to go to on saturday with all my hubby's work colleagues. It's a garden party/BBQ and don't have anything nice to wear i would love a maxi dress but being a size 18 and 4'11 i don't think i will find one. Why don't they do maxi dress for shorties? If they do they are petites and only in small sizes.

I am not going to parent craft/ antenatal they were a waste of time the MW was horrible . She would ask us questions which she then picked on one of us to answer then told us we we soooo wrong. She asked us to answer 10 things a midwife does we were running out of answers so i said deliver babies, I got shot down straight the way for saying that because apparently they don't deliver babies.
I think i will try aqua natal though when ds starts big school in sept and i have the time.
