    Well yes.... and no. It depends on the type of strawberry you have.
    Some of mine I pick when they are red, or even not completely red, but a little what looks like under ripe and they are perfect.
    Some of my others I have to leave until they look almost gone over, otherwise they aren't sweet enough. It's like all soft fruit, you have to find the right time for you and for that particular plant, to pick them.
    Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
