Send it. Interfering with Natural Selection is just wrong.

This child is 9! My daughter has been playing with and collecting original 1980's star wars since she was 6, she hasn't managed to choke to death on the millennium falcon just yet and she's 11 now.

Where do you stop policing this stuff? You can walk around any car boot sale and buy toys from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Its the parents responsibility not yours.

Surely all you need to do is warn them you don't think it is suitable for a child for xyz reasons.

If they wish to continue then its up to them.

Maybe a little extreme, but if parent asked to buy a Stanley knife, or an 18 rated film for their child, how many people would oblige?

If the toy is not suitable for children for whatever reason, the OP should be under no obligation to supply.

i had a ccg card collection on ebay, my third ever sale was to someone buying for a 9 year old- and in the end the rest went to an adult buying for a child- ironically i think the ebay account was in the child's name.
i sold to them (for less than i wanted unfortunatly) left positive feedback (the adult collected from my house when he said he would) and used the money to pay for car tax.

in ccg circles young kids being into the games is frowned upon (they play different versions of the game, replicating the films which collectors frown upon), i never lost sight of the fact i went to tournaments cos my mate was a collector and bi-polar
things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
BH is my best mate too, its ok :)

I trust BH even if he's from Manchester.. ;)

If it has been deemed unsafe, they should all have been recalled and then the question would be should the OP be selling the item to anyone of any age.

If you say you don't want to send it the buyer could just say, "ok its for me and not my kid"

Everybody on ebay is an adult in theory, it is up to them what they do with it.

How do you know the other items aren't going to children and the buyers just haven't mentioned it?

I would. It's the parent buying it. ;)

If a child was trying to buy it, then obviously not. :p
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
