Mobile Phones for £20 ... Scam ... or for Real?
OK, I've done a wee search through the site and I haven't come across anyone else mentioning this so I thought I'd put it out there for some public opinion!!
I've increasingly noticed that some Ebay sellers are selling "links" to websites where you can buy whatever phone you wish for £20.
Now such a link just seems to have "DUBIOUS" written all over it.
I think the idea is that you join a list, and the more people that join the list the further you progress up the list. It may take a few weeks, but once you hit the top of the list, a phone is dispatched to you.
Has anyone given this a go? Is it just TOO good to be true?

You can't have looked too hard on this site - a thread crops up every couple of days or so on this. Its got everything to do with PYRAMID selling - dressed up to appear as something else.
You put down £20 - then get another 14 mugs to do the same - one ends up with the phone - and there are 13 losers. As ever if it looks too good to be true it usually is. Just put the twenty quid on at the bookies at least you'll have time to wave bye bye to it.

And with all the deals for free phone and cashback covering all/most of the line rental (mentioned on this thread and elsewhere), why would you want to pay these dodgy people anyway?
