Thanks for that Lou, I'll try and get it through my local independent shop, I'm funny like that, I prefer to give my money to them than big corporations.

Hiya, Bunny and family are installed in 'Camp Bunny' for the night, and I'm off to bed soon too - need to be up and ready for 7.30am!!

Feeling rather guilty as I appear to have lost 2 sleeping bags (suspect XOH's involvement in this!), and have just had to throw an assortment of blankets at them instead, so am praying for a warm night! :o

toto - I've just had a look at the new growth charts on the rcpch website and i want Evie to use them. Where she fell below the chart on the old ones, she's still on the chart and close to the 2nd percentile line on the new ones!

I just looked at that too, it's a better chart by far. Lily is between the 50th and 75th on that one. The health visitor does my head in though, she raised an eyebrow because lily has gained 2lbs in 2 months, she asked what I was feeding her and how often. I feed her when she's hungry until she's had enough

And yet, there was a woman in the clinic with a baby no more than a month old. She's sitting there trying to force feed the child a bottle with orange juice in it, the baby is wriggling and she puts the teat in her own mouth to hold it so she had both hands free. This went on for the half an hour I was there and the health visitor didn't say a word.

  • Evening all, I know I am late to the party and that everyone is in Leeds so I am probably alone, but I just got back from a week in Dorset today and the break has given me that invincible feeling, I wish I could bottle it, or at least remember how I feel...

I AM going to change my life... I am going to get fit again, lose weight, and most importantly I am so going to get a new job... I am... I am not being beaten by a bunch of bullies in a dead-end hopeless meaningless job. I may have sunk a bottle of wine trying to catch up on DFW but I feel great.. oh and I am going to sort out the money thing because look how long I've been registered with MSE - I can pretend as though I am okay but this is my chance to change things... I am 30 next year... I can't let THIS be me then.

I have missed DFW. I know I am forgotten in these parts and that's my fault but even if no one gets anything from me being here... well it's important to me so maybe in time I can make friends too :) it is so easy to get caught up in the daily grind, I can't remember the last time (before this week...) I stopped to just appreciate the little things in life, but not anymore, I will do it often so I don't forget :)

oh and Lenny had better not leave

I might skulk off to bed now, a long day, a bloody long drive, and so looking forward to a king size bed again, can you believe I had to sleep right NEXT to OH :rotfl: it's okay, he feels the same, we just kept saying 'ugh get off, move over' :rotfl:
