Hope I'm not highjacking this thread but could one of you experienced peeps out there tell me if Tom Tom is the best make? I am needing to get a SatNav for my elderly father as today he got lost just 10 miles from home!! Seriously! Have NO experience of these things and would welcome all advice. Pleaaaasssee!!!!

I think the TomTom One GB would be ideal for him if you are going to take the plunge!
I loved my Mitac Mio till some b*****d stole it! :(

All BB users are equal; but some are more equal than others
  • So just out of curiosity, what is the general consensus on the best make and model of Sat Nav? And is anyone aware of a website that compares and contrasts? All links appreciated please. :)
  • I have tried loads of satnavs and would recommend the tomtom one...also people asking on here where to get the latest maps, cameras, voices etc have you not heard of torrent sites....
