What size are you Michelle? I have been clearing out and have been coming across clothes in 12s and 14s that don't really fit. I might have something I could send your way?

Despite him lobbing his mobile phone out of my landing window yesterday

Just being nosey really but was this an accident or temper tantrum? I've never thrown my phone but I have thrown screwdrivers in a temper when nails won't come out. :rotfl:
Demolished far too many biscuits. I might have to go cold turkey with them

Busicuits and crisps arn't even allowed in my house Michelle! not even nutella anymore since I devoured a jar when DH was away :o

You are definitely not on your own with the general attitude towards food. My clothes are all too tight, and I just can not stop eating! I've had weetabix for breakfast as I thought I would try and be healthy. But then I've just made DS1 a slice of toast with peanut butter, and ended up having some myself too. Then I've just wondered back into the kitchen and had a slice of carrot cake too! And I'm still hungry for lunch.
The problem with me is that when I think about food, i.e. dieting, I literally can not stop thinking about it all day, and will eat everything in sight! I'm starting to think the key might be to eat what I like, but just make sure I eat plenty of fruit and veg, drink plenty of water and exercise regularly. If I try to deny myself things I just crave them even worse.
Oh and I'm right there with you on the Nutella on a spoon :rotfl:

    Michelle,

I swear by not buying the wrong foods. DH has diabetes so I don't buy chocolate, crisps etc. I occasionally buy a treat but in small quantities only (even when they cost more - waistline over money saving). So in the nutella example I would buy the smallest jar possible or buy a small amount of the single portion treat sizes and open and use them occasionally.

My other tip is to eat parts of a portion - for example when I get given a box of chocs, I bite the choc in half, put the other half back in the box and chew and swallow the first half before deciding if I want the second one (I do have to check choc boxes before offering them round :D). I consider the half to be having a choc, IYSWIM. I also eat things like muffins by breaking off and eating bits by hand, and if I have left some on the wrapper for a while I throw it in the bin to prevent grazing on it later. I snack out of the fridge/cupboard but never out of the bin  so I feel it is helpful to prevent me eating the huge portions these things are sold in.

It isn't entirely MSE, but it is healthier I feel.

I've had to ban most biscuits. The only ones I have in my house are the go ahead crispy slices (like garabaldi biscuits) that come as 5 individually wrapped packets of 3 biscuits. I feel guilty if I have more than one small packet of 3 so it works for me! Normally if a big pack of biscuits is open I eat them all waaaaaayyyyy too quickly! :o

I've banned myself from crisps altogether for now... none for 2 months now! I sometimes miss them but they have such dangerous food/mental associations for me it is probably healthier all round if I avoid them for now...
