PP, I think it's going to be great. It sounds like everything is arranged perfectly and there is plenty to do in the 2hrs, without there being too much. I reckon the food will take about 30mins, which leaves an hour and a half (if everyone turns up and leaves on time!) for the fun and games.

I also want to say what a fab mum you sound. Your daughter is very lucky (though, I'm sure she knows that already).

I'm sure it will be a great party, you seem to have plenty of entertainment lined up. I bet they won't want to go home. Happy birthday to Miss PP and enjoy!

    Thanks MrsMW

OH has been busy and has made the Pizza bases, cooked the chicken legs/thighs (done a few with korma paste on them), made and cooked the sausage rolls, fairy cakes and has designated a part of the kitchen to the party, and has laid out all the non perishables.

He is at present putting decorations up, but balloons will go up in the morning. Will cook the pizzas and chicken dippers tomorrow. Just going through in my head...food:

    Chicken legs/thighs/dippers-done except dippers
    Cheese/apple sticks-saturday
    Sausage Rolls-done
    Pizzas-half done
    Carrot sticks and dip-saturday
    Boiled Eggs-saturday
    Small salad bowl-saturday
    Crisps-done
    Sandwiches (cheese or jam)-saturday

Jelly & Ice cream/Cream (must do tonight)
Marshmellows and choc sauce-choc needs melting
    Fairy cakes/crispie cakes-done
    Fruit Salad-saturday
    Bratz cake-bought

    Lemonade/Cherryade/Cream Soda (no e's)
Fruit Punch with apple/OJ and fruit
    Squash/Water
    Bucks Fizz

Everything is on disposable plates and bowls...so no washing up:D will keep a black bag to hand for all the rubbish as they go along. DD even fleeced some straws from Mcd's earlier....LOL. Also have napkins.

    Have I forgotten anything????

    Thanks again.

PP, from past childrens party experience I would say make sure you are in charge of what happens at what time and keep things moving so that they don't have a chance to get bored, fed up or annoying!

Well if I were running the party this would be my plan -

Say the party starts at 2.00 for instance (change to fit the real time)

Use two rooms and no more (I would use my kitchen and living room but it depends what u have), I would lay the food out on the kitchen table at 1.30 and cover it with a table cloth (of course leave the items that must stay in the fridge or freezer in like jelly and ice cream!)

I would then lay out all the items for the games in the front room on a table, so you will need -

    the three parcels,
box of doughnuts and probably some napkins or wipes!,
a blind fold and wooden spoon,
    cd player and cd's,
bag or hat with film names/songs/famous peoples names etc inside ready
and your DD's pin the bag on the bratz doll (it sounds amazing by the way, we once had pin the tail on Muffin the Mule it it went down a storm and that was before he was bought back in amination!)

Try to make sure that this table is out of the way of where the girls will be so that you can easily get to it and that wandering hands can't get to it!

When they arrive at 2.00 I would get them all to sit in the living room until they are all there, this would probably be a good time for a 15 minute make over whilst mums leave. I would also say that you should have a pressie table so that DD can enjoy opening her gifts with you and Mr PP when they have gone, she can always write thank you notes and you will then be able to see who gave what.

2.15 Kick off with Wooden Spoons, there are 7 girls so it will probably take 15 minutes to play and will get the in the mood for fun (it sounds like a good game too, I think I will use this at drama)

2.30 Pin the bag on the bratz doll

2.45 The doughnut game (will work better before lunch as they wont make themselves sick)

    3.00 Lunch

3.30 Pass the parcel, a nice sit down game to let the food go down.

    3.45 Musical statues and dancing

4.00 Home time and Feet up time for Mr and Mrs PP!

I would say use Charades at the end if they get fed up with dancing it will also be a nice game to play as they go home, something for the last few to carry on playing if their parents are running late.

If there isn't time then I would say drop charades and let them dance their way home!

This sounds really regimented and does seem to a bit rushed so you may decide to start sooner after lunch if they are finished eating before 3.30 or to take out a game if they are enjoying another more.

All your plans sound brilliant, the party bags sound lovely and the games are inventive, the food won't make a difference to the girls, I always find it funny because they act as if they have never eat before at other peoples houses, I bet they hoover it up!

Oh and make sure you have a bin bag for the pass the parcel paper!

Oh and of course, make sure you enjoy it!!!!! :T

Edit to say, yum yum that food sounds good, can I come too?? :p
